Our family hub services are based on the needs of local people and aim to provide children and families with all the help and support they may need.
The Hubs provide spaces for multi-agency teams to work together to offer this support such as Health Visitors, Early Years Support Practitioners, Intervention teams, School Nurses, Midwives, Maternity Support Workers and our partners from the voluntary and community sector.
Our offer of early help support starts in the antenatal period for parents-to-be, then continues whilst children are in their pre-school years, right up until your child is 19 (or 25 years old with SEND).
Thanks to some additional grant funding from the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Social Care, our Family Hubs are changing to offer more services, activities and support for families over the next two years.
There is a big focus on support for expectant parents, up until the child is aged 2, so that all children get the best start in life. In addition, we will be providing more support in conjunction with our Family Hub network partners, for children and young people aged 5-19 years (25 with SEND). We will continue to update this website as improvements are made and extra services start up.
Whether you're looking for a place to connect with other parents, explore new activities with your children, or access support and advice, the Family Hub has got you covered.
With a range of activities and events held throughout the year, families can enjoy a variety of experiences, from arts and crafts to music and storytelling. So why not join in the fun and make some new memories at your local Family Hub?
