Important Information
Voter ID – You need to take photo ID with you in order to vote in polling stations, go to the Electoral Commissions website to view the list of accepted photo ID https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/voting-and-elections/voter-id/accepted-forms-photo-id
Postal Vote Handling – The law has changed and you can only hand in your own postal pack and the postal packs of 5 other people. If you had in your own or up to 5 others in the polling station or Redcar Civic Centre, you will be required to complete a form. You will not be able to hand in postal votes at any other Council buildings. The easiest way to return your postal vote is via Royal Mail.
