Please note, there is a 50% surcharge for out of town fees.
At least two working days’ notice (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) of any proposed interment must be given to the Bereavement Services Office in writing on the form prescribed by the Council.

Transfer of deeds
| Where the owner of the exclusive right of burial is still alive and wishes the deed to be transferred to relatives the Assignment of Exclusive Right of Burial form may be used. This may be found on the Council’s website. The form should be completed and returned to the Bereavement Services Office with the original deed and a cheque made payable to Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council. | £105.00 |

Memorials, vases, additional inscriptions, and wooden crosses
Permission must be granted by the Bereavement Services Officer before any works are undertaken on memorials of any kind.
Application forms are available from Bereavement Services Officer, Growth, Enterprise and Environments, Fairway House, Limerick Road, Dormanstown, Redcar, TS10 5JU
At least two working days’ notice by e-mail must be given to the Bereavement Service Officer prior to any work taking place.
After permission is granted, work may only be carried out between 9.00 am and 3.30 pm Monday to Friday.
No monumental work is permitted on a Saturday, Sunday, or any bank holiday unless prior permission has been granted.
