Redcar & Cleveland Council, in partnership with our Domestic Abuse Specialist Services and partner organisations are committed to tackling all forms of domestic abuse.
We do this through a range of services and support, in order that all residents of Redcar and Cleveland live free from the fear, threats and effects of domestic abuse and are enabled to build sustained healthy relationships.

What if I am concerned about my own abusive behaviour, how do I get support?
Support is available for people who recognise that their behaviour is abusive and would like support to make positive changes.

The Men's Advice Line is a national support service that you can contact if you're worried about your behaviour. You can contact the Men's Advice Line by calling 0808 8010327.
If I have experienced rape or other sexual offences, how do I get support?
- SARC Teesside, via the Sexual Assault Referral Centre on 03333 44 8283. SARC provides 24/7 support to anyone who has experienced rape and other sexual offences, whether this has happened recently or in the past.
