We have 13 libraries within the Redcar and Cleveland area, and we have volunteering opportunities available across the service.
Volunteering in libraries is a rewarding and sociable way to be involved in your local community. You will gain valuable work experience and have the opportunity to learn a variety of new skills.
Within the library service we take on volunteers of all ages, abilities, and experience. There are a wide range of roles that are available.
These include helping customers with a range of tasks from helping log on to the computers, assisting with printing and answering general queries.
Volunteers may be required to help run activities that are taking place within the library.
