The school admissions guide explains the admission arrangements for primary and secondary schools in Redcar and Cleveland Local Authority.

The guide is for the academic year 2025-2026. They covers applications for Reception and Year 7 for the September 2025 intake, and gives information about mid-year school transfers during 2024-2025.
Supplementary form for Roman Catholic school applicants
You should complete the form’s below if you are applying to a catholic academy for a place in Reception or Year 7 for September.

Secondary Roman Catholic Academies
You will then need to complete the form and send to every Roman Catholic school you're applying to. If sending electronically email addresses for schools can be found on their websites.
Primary Roman Catholic Academies
Please complete the form below if you are applying for the following schools:
Saint Bede’s, Saint Benedict’s, St. Gabriel’s, St. Joseph’s, St. Margaret Clitherow’s, St Mary’s and St. Paulinus

Please remember that Roman Catholic schools will need to see copies of baptism certificates or letters from ministers of religion, which should be sent with the supplementary form.
