Community volunteers help create a bridge for families between the service that families experience and the community in which they live.
The hubs are welcoming, and friendly centres and volunteers are an important part of our team.
We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities such as delivering family groups, getting involved with our community projects and gaining valuable experience.
Our Family Hubs offer help and support to families across Redcar and Cleveland with a range of open access groups – including groups such as Breast Friends, Baby Buddies, Little Explorers, Young Parents, Dads, Neonatal Peer Support.
There are also bookable sessions for parents, such as Starting Solids, Fussy Eating, Preparation for Parenthood, postnatal programmes. Plus, a range of referral programmes such a Wriggle, Read and Rhyme, Early Years Parenting Support, Healthy Families, and many more.
There are many options available and ways you can get involved to support these activities.
If you are interested in volunteering at one of Family Hubs, please take a look at the volunteer description document below.
All volunteers must be 16 years or older to volunteer in one of our Family Hubs.
